In our country, the poor are getting poorer because of the accumulation of wealth in a few hands. Unabated inflation has created difficulties for an individual to make both ends meet. It is heartrending that the poor are deprived of their basic rights. They cannot access basic amenities like pure drinking water, food and shelter. This is the major issue faced by the country.
The government is silent on the plight of the poor. It is seemingly unaware of the fact that a large portion of the country’s population starve. Poverty has given birth to illiteracy and child labour. It is also the main reason of the increasing rate of crimes. The government is, therefore, requested to improve the economic conditions of the country.
