LAHORE

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has inaugurated Lahore Feeder Bus Service, in Model Town, Monday.

These buses will cover 130 kilometre of entire route of metro bus and 120,000 commuters will be benefited with this new bus system as it will be useful in commuting people residing in near area to metro bus station.  He announced inaugurating Feeder Bus System in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Multan’s Metro Bus Service routes. He said Metro Bus System was facilitating people and feeder bus service was an exemplary addition to it. Commuters will be charged with Rs15 fare from one side and they will also be charged for Rs20 only on metro bus service; in this way metro and feeder bus service fare is interlinked. He said subsidy of billions of rupees and provision of best transport facilities to people would be a constant prick for the elites and they would be in pain on the provision of facilities to common man and the subsidy of billions of rupees.

Those who travel in expensive cars feel insecure and jealous after seeing common man travelling with comfort and respect and they can criticise without any solid argument; however, I don't get affected by their approach, he said.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has laid a responsibility of serving people on my shoulders and I will fulfill my promise at any cost and Those who are indulged in corruption, unscrupulous deeds and frauds have no right to criticise the public welfare projects; in other words their looted money should be showered on common man or otherwise their black money should be snatched from them and should be spent on providing the health, education and transportation facilities to people, he added.  He stated that 23rd March is around the corner; this historical day is celebrated with zeal, we have struggled for a separate homeland for a reason and the reason hasn't been achieved so far.

We can build Pakistan a real Islamic welfare state after implementing the sayings of Iqbal and Quaid where laws and rules prevail and where everyone is getting equal opportunities to excel.  He congratulated the nation for the inauguration of the new feeder bus service and appreciated the efforts of the departments concerned who have worked day and night to provide common man with best transportation facilities.

He said this feeder bus service is a present for the nation on the historical day of 23rd March and also directed the elites to travel in the bus and stated that I will also commute in the same bus and together we will make Pakistan prosperous. Let’s hold hand of miserable people as our riddance, welfare and respect lies in it. He also stated the under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif the energy projects are heading towards completion and sooner the nation will get rid of the dark.

In his conversation with the media, the chief minister said that I don't want to comment on anything; however, Niazi Sahib is working on the same Jangla Bus Project in Peshawar, the one he has criticised a lot in the past and we all know that this project provides respectable and comfortable secure transport facility to the common man. I will not call it Jangla Bus but will congratulate Peshawar people on the inauguration of splendid bus system that will facilitate them. He said Niazi Sahib has finally acknowledged the importance of metro bus system instead of criticising it like in the past, he always gives a late verdict. I will request them to refrain from calling this standard transport facility as Jangla Bus but to provide the people of KP with this splendid bus service.

The Punjab government has cooperated with KP brothers as they are dear to us and has provided them with much cooperation and details. In one question related to inter transport, he answered that transport department should take steps for the betterment and revival of the system.

In one question related to feeder bus system he said that around 120,000 people commute through this bus and if there is an increase of commuters then the government will also increase the metro buses.
