Mushtaq Raisani, Longove, three others indicted

Mega corruption case
QUETTA: Five accused persons including former secretary finance Mushtaq Raisani and chief minister’s former adviser Khalid Langove have been indicted in the Balochistan mega corruption scandal. All the accused have pleaded not guilty.
The mega corruption case came up for hearing in the accountability court Friday. The court indicted former adviser on finance Khalid Langove, former finance secretary Mushtaq Raisani, former secretary local government Abdul Basit, ex-secretary local board Faisal Jamal and contractor Sohail Majeed.
The court also dismissed the plea by the five accused persons that they be not indicted. In May last year, cash worth million of rupees was recovered from the residence of Mushtaq Raisani.
