International investors can’t ignore Pakistani markets for long
ISLAMABAD: According to international experts, Pakistan is still out of the sight of big investment companies which have made less investment here, but the markets of Pakistan could not be ignored for long.
Private Equity, established in London, and Wealth Funds GIC of Singapore have said that Pakistan is such a market in the world which provides great opportunities to earn good profit by making less investment. They said relaxation and facilities on behalf Pakistani regulators in starting a company had made the investment easier.
Founder of Funds, Rabail Warraich, has said that he intends to make investment in different sectors of Pakistan by keeping in view the better opportunities of making investment and business situation here. He said recently a few Pakistani companies rapidly emerged in E-commerce sector and there are such several sectors which are still out of sight in which success can be achieved by making investment in them. In his view Lahore and other cities of the Punjab along with big Karachi city are making progress in technology sector.
Rabail said that multinational companies could start joint venture with local companies in making investment in Pakistan. He views that under CPEC there will be indirect benefits along with direct benefits from the infrastructure and power projects. He said this would help in creating new employment opportunities along with promotion of business. He said this is a great opportunity for foreign companies to take advantage from it and become part of emerging market.
