QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed there is only one formula to eliminate corruption in the country and that is to hand over the system of country to the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).

He said that the capitalists were talking about their own interests while the JUI-F was struggling to make the country an Islamic welfare state. He said that there were several people who owned companies in PanamaLeaks but none from them.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a JUI-F convention held in Quetta on Sunday.  He said it was regretful that teachers and students of madaris were being called terrorists. He said the JUI-F talked about peace and they were to live in accordance with the law and Constitution of the country. He said that Maulvis (clerics) had not come into power for the last 70 years.

He said that capitalists were watching their own interests as they did not have any theory and took directions from the US and Europe. He regretted that the elite had no vision for the well being of the country and masses.

On the occasion, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri said that the JUI was endeavouring to make Pakistan an Islamic state and added the husbands would have been whipped if Maulana Fazlur Rehman had not raised his voice.
