ISLAMABAD: Earthquake jolted number of places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Fata, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal capital Tuesday with the intensity of 4.2 and 6.0 respectively, Met office reported. The epicentre of the earthquake was Hindukush region, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, whereas the depth was recorded as 158 km and 10 km respectively. People came out of the buildings reciting Kalma Tayyaba and gathered at open places.
