LAHORE
Dry weather with cold nights continued to prevail in the provincial capital here Monday while Met office predicted scattered rain during the next 24 hours.Met officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly wave is affecting western parts of Balochistan. They predicted that rain with thunderstorm is expected at scattered places in divisions of Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Malakand, Bannu, DI Khan, Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while dry weather elsewhere in the country.
Monday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam and Astore where mercury dropped down to -06°C while in Lahore, it was 11.2°C.
The highest temperature recorded in the city was 26°C and humidity level was 21 percent.
