PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa unit of the Orakzai Scouts of the Frontier Corps arranged a free medical camp at Khwaja Khizar area of lower part of Orakzai Agency.
An official statement said the facility was extended as a gesture of solidarity and to provide the basic health facilities to the tribesmen of the far-flung areas. Three specialist doctors provided free medical treatment to 668 people of Ferozkhel and Mishti tribes during the daylong camp.
The communication said the patients included 115 men, 253 women and 300 children. Medicines were also provided to the locals free of cost. The local population appreciated the efforts of the Frontier Corps (Orakzai Scouts) for restoration of peace in the area and providing relief to the inhabitants.
Holding free medical camps for providing medical facilities to the deserving people in far-flung areas is a regular feature of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
