Obituary

Dr Mian Naseer Ahmad Saleem, father of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, passed away here on Tuesday morning. He was 90.

His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered at 1:30 pm after Zuhr prayers at Jamia Masjid, DHA-EME Sector, Multan Road, Lahore, on Wednesday (today).

UVAS Academic Staff Association (ASA), Officer Staff Association (OSA), Non-Teaching Staff Association, faculty members and students have extended their condolences to the bereaved family.

Mian Naseer was an alumnus of UVAS and had graduated in 1949. He served the Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab in various capacities and remained director of Livestock Production Research Institute, Bahadurnagar.
