‘Violations attempt to divert world attention from atrocities in IHK and dilute Pak response to terrorism and militancy’; RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav will meet his nemesis

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Tuesday said unprovoked Indian ceasefire violations would be responded effectively adding that the RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav will meet his nemesis.

Gen Bajwa visited troops at Line of Control (LoC) in Mattewala, Munaawar Sector, says the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) briefed him about the troops’ operational preparedness. Appreciating the operational readiness of troops, the COAS said the Pakistan Army soldiers were known for their professional competence, motivation and selfless devotion for the defence of motherland and were the army’s backbone.

He said the Indian ceasefire violations had a design.  “On the one side it is an effort to divert the world's attention from her atrocities in the Indian Held Kashmir, on the other it is an attempt to dilute our response to terrorism and militancy.

The targeting of civilians along the LoC is deliberate and highly reprehensible. We are fully aware of Indian designs and her support to terrorism in Pakistan and the region. Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav is one such evidence of these designs and his case will be taken to the logical conclusion,” said the Army Chief.

He said the Pakistan Army will do its duty to protect the nation, the motherland and Azad Kashmir against all forms of Indian aggression. “We will continue our solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir who are struggling for their right to self-determination.” Earlier on arrival at the LoC, the COAS was received by Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lt Gen Nadeem Raza.
