SUKKUR: While talking to media, the Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Wednesday said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would assume his position in the National Assembly. He said that he would be Bilawal’s assistant and Bilawal would never take his decision back to contest in elections.

Khursheed Shah said that Bakhtawar and Aseefa would also contest in the forthcoming elections. He also said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would resume his second phase of mass awareness rallies. He said that he would sensitize the people of Punjab against Nawaz rule, adding that Bilawal’s four points were justified and they represented people justly.

He said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had decided to mount pressure against Nawaz Sharif to press the need for implementing four points, both in and out of the parliament. He said that he would not oppose the appointment of NAB chairman by the court. Shah also claimed that the cabinet members of Nawaz Sharif were also not relying on Nawaz Sharif.

According to Khursheed Shah, there was a general perception that the country would be divided during 2008 general elections; however, PPP made wise decisions and united the country. Shah further went on to say that PPP also resolved the NFC issue and other related issues to restrengthen democracy. In his closing remarks, he said that the attitude of some ministers in the National Assembly was immoral and against basic ethics.
