Noshwerwan, Hamza and Shahid advance to main round

KARACHI: Nosherwan Khan, Hamza Bukhari and Shahid Hussein moved into the main round of the $5,000 McLean Squash Open in Virginia, United States, on Tuesday.
Nosherwan defeated Sergio López of the US 11-6, 11-5, 11-5 in the final qualifying round while Shahid overpowered Le Roy Leong of Malaysia 4-11, 11-3, 6-11, 11-6, 11-7. Hamza won against Sam Fenwick of the Wales 11-3, 6-11, 11-6, 8-11, 11-4.
Hamza will be up against third seed Ashley Davies of England in the main round and Nosherwan will face fourth seed David Baillargeon of Canada. Shahid will take on sixth seed Reuben Phillips of England.
