Mayo Hospital provided 1,012,310 patients with consultancy and treatment facilities in its Out Patient Department (OPD).
Over 486,325 patients have been treated in main emergency department while 152,362 children benefitted from the treatment facilities in Paediatric Emergency and surgeries of 32,579 children were conducted. According to a hand out issued on Tuesday, Medical Superintendent Dr Amjed Shahzad while giving details about the performance of the hospital during 2014 said 104,676 patients were operated upon while 18,759 CT Scan tests carried out, whereas 19,899 dialysis kidney and nephrology patients were conducted.
Dr Amjad Shahzad said Mayo Hospital is also catering cardiac patients and 87,692 ECG tests of cardiac patients were also performed and 200,449 X-rays and 860 lithotripsy procedures were performed.
