Thousands turn up in Mardan for recruitment in Balochistan FC
PESHAWAR: Thousands of young men reached the Punjab Regiment Centre in Mardan for the third day running on Monday to seek recruitment in the Frontier Corps Balochistan.
Monday was the last day of the recruitment, but the number of applicants seeking recruitment in FC didn’t go down. Rather, the candidates made a desperate last attempt to be enlisted. At times they grew restless due to their inability to gain entry into the Punjab Regiment Centre due to the rush of applicants.
The FC Balochistan recruitment team had come from Quetta to take physical and written examination of the candidates. When contacted in Quetta, the FC Balochistan spokesman Abdul Wasay, told The News that 3,500 to 4,000 young men would be enlisted all over Pakistan during the ongoing recruitment process.
