Islamabad: The shortage of gas in several parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad despite claims by the concerned authorities for improvement in supply irked the people during the winter season.
The residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were facing shortage of gas which speaks volume about the inefficiency of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in providing a basic facility without any interruption.
The problem of gas shortage persists in localities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi including Sadiqabad, Muslim Town, Haji Chowk, Dhoke Paracha, Arya Moahalla and Tarlai. However, despite hue and cry the SNGPL authorities were not taking practical steps to mitigate the problems to provide relief to the people.
