Mother, son killed in Nowshera
NOWSHERA: The bullet-riddled body of a woman and her minor son were found dumped in Baila Koroona in Pirpiai on Saturday, official sources said.
They said that the bodies bearing torture marks were found in a deserted place in Baila Koroona.
After being informed the by local people, the police took the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera.
Meanwhile, the officials of the Azakhel Police Station Khan arrested Shehriyar and Mir Badshah, the brothers of the deceased woman, in connection with the case that triggered a protest.
The angry dwellers blocked the Grand Trunk Road to demand release of the arrested persons.
Taking notice of the incident, CM Pervez Khattak along with District Police Officer Wahid Mehmood reached the police station and suspended SHO Abdul Wali Khan and ordered the formation of a committee to investigate the matter.
Jamal Shah, father of the deceased woman, said that his daughter was married to one Aziz, a resident of Charsadda. “However, she had been living in my house after separation from her husband,” he added.
