FIA arrests accused outside court after bail cancellation

GUJRANWALA: The FIA team Thursday arrested an accused outside the court after cancellation of his bail plea.
Reportedly, Ghulam Murtaza, assistant accountant of Gepco and Abbas Ahmed were involved in Rs 6.95 million embezzlement case. Abbas earlier was granted bail by the Supreme Court and the other day the court cancelled his bail and FIA arrested him outside the court, while Ghulam Murtaza filed a petition for the post arrest bail which was rejected by the court.
BID FOILED TO GO ABROAD ON FAKE PAPERS: The FIA team Thursday foiled an attempt of an accused to fly abroad on a fake visa at Sialkot Airport.
Reportedly, accused Muhammad Iqbal made an attempt to travel abroad on the fake visa of Greece and FIA team on a tip-off arrested him before he proceeded abroad.
THREE HUMAN TRAFFICKERS HELD: The FIA team Thursday arrested three human traffickers from Sialkot.
Reportedly, accused Muhammad Naseer, Faisal Aziz and Muhammad Javed were involved in sending people abroad illegally.
MAN TORTURES WIFE: A man tortured his wife over monetary issues in Yousafpura. Talking to reporters at the DHQ Hospital, Tehmina, mother of two children, alleged that she demanded money from his husband Ghulam Jillani to run the house affairs but tortured her and broke her teeth.
