CM Punjab unwell, shifted to hospital

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif’s health deteriorated on Wednesday and he was shifted to a hospital, sources informed told Geo News. 

According to Punjab government spokesman, CM Punjab’s health is out of danger. He said that Shehbaz Sharif’s ECG has been done. Sources privy to the matter informed that CM Punjab is doing well, adding that his health suffered due to exertion.

A day ago, Shehbaz Sharif paid a visit to Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who is also hospitalised due to health issues.  According to sources, his blood sugar level had increased and caused health complications. Fazlur Rehman also went through different tests and is currently under treatment in a hospital in Lahore.

Spokesman Punjab government has said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is in good health and his medical tests are normal. The checkup of the Chief Minister was conducted at Ittefaq Hospital.  Shehbaz Sharif said that he is in good health due to grace of Allah Almighty and prayers of the nation. He also expressed gratitude to the people for praying for his health.
