Judicial Magistrate (West) Ahmed Sarwar directed the investigation officer (IO) in a double murder case to submit the final charge sheet against an activist of a police party, Ashfaq alias Ashfaq Chief, without any further delay.
Ashfaq is alleged to have killed two brothers, Ibraheem and Agha Wali, in 2010 in the area of the Pirabad police station. He is also facing nine other cases of target killings.
The court has warned IO Inspector Roohul Amin not to delay the submission of the final charge sheet. The judge observed that it was the last chance for the IO to submit against Ashfaq Chief at the next hearing, otherwise the court would take a legal action against the IO for his negligence.
