PTI candidate wins thru toss

TOBA TEK SINGH: PTI candidate Ahtesham Babar was declared winner after defeating PML-N candidate Asadullah through toss.
Earlier, Ahtesham Babar and Asadullah had obtained 15 votes each on Thursday. Now in 40-member Toba MC house, the PTI has 21 votes and the PML-N has 19 votes. The PTI has now in a position to elect its candidate as the MC chairman.
TOSS: A toss was held in the returning officer’s office and one each winner was declared from both MPA and MNA groups.
After the decision now, the MPA group finally remained on top by getting seven seats while the MNA group could get only three seats. Earlier, For Kamalia municipal committees reserved seats, one of the two groups of PML-N led by MPA Begum Nazia Raheel Gujjar had won six seats while the other group led by MNA Ch Asadur Rehman had secured two seats. The votes of three candidates were equal so two of them were declared winner through toss.
