Rulers cannot be saved by Qatari prince: Siraj

From Our Correspondent

BAHAWALPUR: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the rulers cannot be saved even by the Qatari prince.

He was talking to journalists at the residence of JI parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar on Friday. JI ameer Sirajul Haq said that the Sharif family was changing statements time and again and now the Qatari prince letter had been produced to save their alleged corruption. He, however, said that the JI would follow the rulers and other corrupt elements to clean Pakistan.

Sirajul Haq while admiring the Turkish president’s address to the parliament joint session said that the Turkish president had challenged the Europe by terming it responsible for terrorism. The presentation of the Kashmir case was a reflection of the Turkish president’s love for Kashmiris and their struggle, he added. He criticised the rulers for not arranging meetings of the Turkish president with the political leadership of Pakistan. Sirajul Haq blamed that the distribution of resources in Punjab, particularly in the south Punjab, was unjustified. He assured that the JI after coming into power would resolve the issues of Cholistan and Bahawalpur. Earlier, the JI ameer offered Fateh for the departed soul of mother of JI MPA Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar.
