Whales College clinch Boys Throwball title
KARACHI: Whales College beat Aga Khan School 2-0 in the summit clash of the 5th Boys Throwball Tournament 2016 at City School (PAF Chapter) here on Wednesday.
Teams representing twenty schools and colleges participated in this tournament.
In the semi-finals, Whales College had edged hosts City School, PAF Chapter, 2-1 and Aga Khan School (Garden) had thrashed Aga Khan School (Kharadar) 2-0.
City School, PAF Chapter, beat Aga Khan School (Kharadar) 2-1 sets in the third place play-off.
Sindh Throwball Association (STA) organised the three-day tournament.
During the closing ceremony, STA secretary Maqbool Arain announced that Pakistan girls and boys teams would participate in Junior Asian Throwball Championship 2016, which is to be held from December 27 to 30 in Kuala Lumpur.
