PHF bosses grieved by Nadeem Bhatti’s demise

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) president Khalid Khokhar and secretary Shahbaz Ahmed have expressed grief over the death of Lt Col (R) Nadeem Bhatti in Nigeria.
Bhatti, an FIH certified coach educator, was on a coaching assignment in Nigeria.
A brilliant goalkeeper in his youth, Bhatti represented Pakistan Army team in the national competitions and was good enough to attend quite a few national camps in late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
He also captained Pakistan Army team in the CISM (Military World Games). PHF’s president and secretary prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the departed soul with eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
