Death of Munawar Mughal condoled

Mian Abdul Manan, MNA from Faisalabad visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in order to offer condolences on the demise of Munawar Mughal, vice president of FPCCI and former president of ICCI who died on December 20, due to cardiac arrest.
Muzammil Hussain Sabri, president, Muhammad Shakeel Munir, senior vice president of ICCI, Abdul Rauf, chairman of Founder Group, Zubair Ahmed Malik, former president of FPCCI, Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi, former president of ICCI, Muhammad Ishtiaq Qureshi & Ch. Abdul Ghaffar, former vice presidents of ICCI, Muhammad Naveed Malik, former executive member of ICCI and many other businessmen were present at the occasion.
Mian Abdul Manan said that he had close friendly relations with Munawar Mughal since 1997 who was a great business leaders and played key role in developing close unity of market associations with the Chamber. He shared his many good memories about Munawar Mughal with the audience and said his unfortunate demise was a big loss to the business community.
He also took business community on board about many planned initiatives of the government aimed at resolving key issues of trade and industry and said that government would take all possible measures to facilitate the growth of business activities.
Abdul Rauf said that the visit of Mian Abdul Manan to ICCI to express condolences was an encouraging sign for local business community. He also thanked him for tabling the bill of rent control act for Islamabad in the National
Assembly and hoped that
the promulgation of a said
rent law would provide a sense of security to businessmen as it would greatly help in amicable resolution of rent disputes.
Muzammil Hussain Sabri also thanked Mian Abdul Manan for his very cooperative approach towards the business community. He said the presence of Mian Abdul Manan in the parliament was a source of strength for traders and industrialists as he always played positive role in highlighting their issues for urgent attention of the government. He assured that the local business community would extend all possible cooperation to the government in its efforts aimed at promoting Pakis-
tan’s business and economic interests.
