Pakistan women’s team for New Zealand tour announced

KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced Pakistan women’s team for New Zealand tour.

Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan approved the 15-member team picked by the Women’s National Selection Committee comprising Farrukh Zaman and Urooj Mumtaz Khan.

Pakistan will play five ODIs and a T20I against New Zealand.

Sana Mir will lead the team in ODIs and Bismah Maroof will be vice captain. Bismah will lead the team in the T20I while Javeria Wadood will be her deputy.

Squad: Sana Mir, Bismah Maroof, Javeria Wadood, Asmavia Iqbal, Nida Rashid Dar, Anam Amin, Sadia Yousaf, Maham Tariq, Syeda Nain Abidi, Nahida Bibi, Ayesha Zafar, Sidra Nawaz (WK), Aliya Riaz, Iram Javed, Diana Baig.
