Body found dumped in Sohrab Goth

While three people lost their lives in separate accidents, a dead body with multiple gunshot wounds was also found dumped in the city on Tuesday.

The unidentified body was found from the Ehsaanabad area of Sohrab Goth, within SITE Super Highway police limits, and was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legalities. Officials said the victim had been kidnapped by unknown men who tortured him before shooting him twice in the torso. Although no identity card was found, it was ascertained that the victim was between 25 to 30 years.

An unknown woman was killed when a speeding vehicle rammed into her as she crossed the road in Korangi Industrial Area near Bilal Chowrangi.

In an attempt to cross a railway track, an unidentified man lost his life when he came under a moving train at Drig Road Railway Crossing.
