The chairman of the PTI is openly calling for a ‘shutdown’ or ‘lockdown’ of Islamabad on November 2 without any concerns for the capital’s local and foreign residents. Political leaders are reiterating that sit-ins and protests are constitutional rights.
In villages, ‘jirga’ members will invariably prevent warring rivals from taking any action including verbal assault till resolution of a dispute. Wisdom is much better than strength and those who can should call the shots to prevent this hooliganism before it is too late.
