The non-availability of stamped papers in the stamp offices for the last couple of months is surprising. This is creating anxiety among people and revenue loss for the government. What surprises the most is the fact that concerned departments are not ready to print such papers.
This is a very sensitive matter which should be resolved at the earliest. An independent enquiry must be carried to find out the reason of the non-availability of stamped papers and concerned officers must be held responsible for the losses of revenue.
