Rangers arrest two suspected terrorists
Rangers arrested two suspected terrorists in raids conducted in Sukkur and Hub Chowki on Saturday.
A Rangers spokesperson said the paramilitary force conducted intelligence-based raids in Sukkur and Hub Chowki and rounded up two notorious terrorists belonging to a banned organisation.
They were identified as Kamran Khurani abd Qari Ataullah. Khurani had planned an attack on October 23, the 9th of Muharram, and carried out a bomb blast in Lashari Mohallah, Jacobabad with the help of Ataullah.
The spokesperson said Rangers had seized sophisticated weapons from the possession of the two terrorists and they were handed over to the local police for further action.
Rangers have also requested the public to immediately contact them and provide them information if they witness any suspicious activity or the presence of miscreants in their surroundings.
