Woman shot dead at doorstep

LAHORE

A mother of three children was shot dead by some unidentified persons in the Mustafa Town area on Thursday.

The victim was identified as Munawar Sultana, wife of Abdul Razzaq of Education Town. On the day of the incident, some unidentified persons came to the house of Razzaq and rang the doorbell. As the victim Munawar Sultana opened the door, the unidentified persons shot at her, resulting into her instant death. Police shifted the body to morgue. 

hit to death: A 40-year-old man was killed by a speeding bike in Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Area on Thursday.

The victim, yet to be identified, was crossing Peco Road when a rashly-driven bike hit him, as a result he received serious injuries. The injured man was taken to hospital where he died. Police shifted the body to morgue.

Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man was killed by a speeding car in the Lohari Gate area on Thursday.

The victim identified as Shahid Khan was crossing a road when a rashly-driven car ran over him, resulting into his instant death. Police shifted the body to mortuary.

found dead: A 30-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Shalimar police station on Thursday. Police claimed that the man, yet to be identified, was an addict who might have died of excessive use of drugs. Police shifted the body to morgue.
