DCO for using biometric system for teachers’ attendance

LALAMUSA: DCO Liaqat Ali Chattha paid a surprise visit here and inspected government schools and Basic Health Units (BHUs) on Wednesday.
The DCO checked attendance of the staff and directed to take attendance of the staff in schools and colleges through biometric system. EDO Health Dr Altaf Ch and EDO Education Tahir Kashif were also present. The DCO also inspected schools at Behiry Colony, Sehdary, Kot Bela elementary and high schools for boys and girls, and directed the schools management to provide different facilities to the students, including computer science lab and library. He asked the teachers to pay their attention towards quality education and do their best to get good result. He directed the EDO Gujrat to ensure availability of biometric system for the attendance of the staff. He also visited the BHUs of Chakori, Sher Ghazai, Sehery and Kot Bela and asked the staffers to wear uniform and provide 18 basic medicines to the patients, which were available at the RHCs and BHUs of Gujrat district.
