Constable dies in road crash

Three people including a Police Constable (PC) and a woman were killed in separate incidents on Wednesday.

PC Babar Shabrati, 28, lost his life when a speeding car rammed into his bike within Baloch Colony police limits.

Although immediately shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC), an injured Shabrati died on the way to the hospital.

According to the police, PC Babar Shabrati was posted at Pakistan Railway Police Lines and was a resident of Mehmoodabad. It was also said that the authorities were checking the availability of any CCTV footage of the accident so the driver could be arrested.
