The rupee gained on Tuesday, amid dollar buying by some banks and exporters, currency dealers said. The rupee rose four paisas to close at 104.73 against the dollar in the interbank market against the previous closing of 104.77. The forex market remained calm and the domestic unit was traded in the range of 104.75 and 104.80 during the session.
