Girl, woman raped in Pakpattan
One of the victims raped for 20 days

PAKPATTAN: A girl and a woman were raped in separate incidents here.
In the first incident, Sadia Bibi came to the house of Ali Sher Khokhar at Chak 32/SP and took his 16-year-old daughter to a canal for washing clothes on September 4. On the way, five people, including Falak Sher, allegedly abducted the girl. The accused shifted the girl to an unknown place where Falak Sher allegedly raped her for 20 days. The victim escaped from their custody and reached her home on September 23. Police have registered a case.
In the second incident, Rasheed entered the house of Nazar Muhammad at Chak Bodla and allegedly raped his wife. The accused escaped after collecting cash and gold ornaments. Police have registered a case.

PAKPATTAN: A girl was kidnapped at Chak 63/EB. Shahbaz and three others came to the house of Mumtaz Begum and told her daughter that her mother was injured in an accident and was shifted to a hospital. To it, the girl went with them. However, the accused took her to an unknown place. Police have registered a case.
Locals robbed of valuables

PAKPATTAN: Citizens were deprived of cash and other valuables on Tuesday.
Tariq of Chak 55/SP and his friends were returning after attending the urs of Baba Fareed (RA) when they reached near Fareedpur Dogran they were intercepted by four robbers who snatched their two motorcycles, four cell phones worth Rs 75,000.
Danish Muneer of Green Town, Pakpattan, was intercepted by bandits on the Zeeman Khan Road and was robbed of Rs 22,000. Police have registered cases.
FAKE CHEQUE CASES: Police Tuesday booked three people on charges of issuing fake cheques. Accused Haji Taj had purchased crops worth Rs 1,000,000 from Muhammad Aslam of wood market, Arifwala, and gave him Rs 275,000 and a cheque that bounced. Accused Shahzad had gotten Rs 100,000 loan from Ghulam Murtaza of Thana Bazaar, Arifwala and gave him a cheque that was dishonoured. Accused Allah Rakha had received Rs 200,000 from Muhammad Nawaz of Qaboola and gave him a cheque that bounced.
Police have registered cases.
DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Police Tuesday arrested drug peddlers and recovered liquor and narcotic drugs from their possession. Police arrested accused Rab Nawaz of Bridge Pir Sultan, Pakpattan and recovered 10 litre liquor, accused Waqas Ali of Mohallah Eidgah, Pakpattan, with 8 litre liquor, and accused Asghar Ali of Kashmir Chowk, Arifwala, with 250 gram charas.
Police booked accused Javed Iqbal of Malooka Kalan on charges of carrying a shotgun without a licence. Police have registered cases.
IMPOSTER BOOKED: A man was booked who posed himself as an MPA on Tuesday.
Reportedly, an imposter introduced himself as MPA Rana Munawar of PP-36 to police officials who were deputed on VIP gate of the shrine of Baba Freed (RA). On verification he was found a common man identified as Rana Amjad. Police have registered a case against him.
