Nisar orders probe against deputy chairman NAB
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has officially ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to conduct an inquiry against former chairman of theNational Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), Imtiaz Tajwer, who is the present deputy chairman of NAB, for alleged misuse of funds during his tenure.
Nisar also made mandatory clearance of all Nadra DGs from the ISI and IB.The minister has also ordered the FIA to arrest the four officers of FIA who had earlier conducted an inquiry into the allegations against Tajwer but allegedly succumbed to the pressures from the officer against whom the inquiry was being done, well-placed sources told The News.
