Fazl, Siraj warn India against aggression
PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Senator Sirajul Haq have said that Pakistan was capable of defending its territory and thwart any external aggression.
Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, Fazlur Rehman said India was trying to disturb regional peace by threatening Pakistan but Pakistan’s armed forces were fully equipped to reply to the aggression of India and international community should listen to the voice of Kashmiris in Indian-Held Kashmiri for their right to self-determination. He urged the Indian leadership to adopt a sensible approach and respect its commitment made to the Kashmiri people at the United Nations as the policy of aggression against innocent people would also not be in favour of India itself.
Meanwhile, Senator Sirajul Haq warned India to refrain from any misadventure and said that entire nation is ready to defend their country against any aggression. Addressing the administrative committees of the party at Azakhel, he said that people of the country would not desist from making sacrifices for sovereignty and survival of their motherland.
He said that India has lost war, and it should stop victimisation of innocent Kashmiri people. He said that people of Pakistan are on the same page with its valiant security forces to defend the country.
He said that any wrong decision on part of India would lead to its dismemberment. JI Ameer also condemned India for its proactive cross border firing that martyred two Pakistani soldiers and injured nine others. He said that if war was imposed on us, Indian cabal would repent its antagonism.
