PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anwarul Haq Yousafzai on Thursday inaugurated 11 kilowatts feeder, which will provide uninterruptable power supply to the Shaheed Banazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar campus.
SBBWU Vice-Chancellor Dr Razia Sultana, Pesco officials, university staff and a number of students were also present at the inauguration ceremony, said a press release. The 4.2km long feeder has been completed at a cost of Rs7.8 million. Dedicated to the university, it will improve the voltage problem and control loadshedding as well.
The Pesco CEO said the feeder would provide uninterruptable power supply to the university and no loadshedding would be carried out on the facility. The vice-chancellor appreciated the cooperation and support of the Pesco management.
