KPEZDMC hosts meeting of Chinese investors

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) hosted a meeting of Chinese delegation led by Dr Ishak Ding Houfei, chairman of the Council on Islamic-Chinese Relations, on Saturday.

According to a press release, the 35-member delegation represented investors from leading Chinese companies. The main purpose of the visit was to have first-hand information of investment prospects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects in the province.

The investors mainly showed interest in business prospects related to trade, steel structure, infrastructure, industrial park, establishment of training institutes, etc.

Mohsin Syed, chief executive officer of KPEZDMC, said that the initiation of CPEC in the area is a wonderful opportunity for both the countries to maximise trade activities and work towards the economic stability.
