ISLAMABAD: Senior Hurriyat leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, on Thursday appealed to the people of the Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) to firmly unite under the bold leadership of veteran leader Syed Ali Geelani.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that the only answer to the conspiracies of the Hindu extremist forces was to strengthen Syed Ali Geelani who stood like a rock against their machinations.
On the other hand, Syed Ali Geelani, while addressing an advisory council of his forum in Srinagar, said the puppet Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed was a big traitor who was hell-bent on undermining the Kashmir cause by supporting the RSS agenda in held Kashmir.
The Ummat-e-Islami Chairman, Qazi Ahmad Yasir, started a hunger strike to invite the world attention towards the situation stemming from the imposition of a ban on beef and miseries of the illegally-detained Kashmiris in Indian jails.
The Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mohammad Yasin Malik, paying tributes to the martyrs of 2010, said that the blood of martyrs would not be allowed to go waste.
