Orders issued to arrest 15 govt staffers

GUJRANWALA: Anti-Corruption Establishment Director Rana Abdul Shakoor has issued orders to arrest 15 officers and officials of different government departments involved in corruption and forgery cases.
Gujrat Tehsildar Qazi Naseer Ahmad, Patwari Muhammad Saeed and Patwari Allah Ditta were allegedly involved in a corruption case. Hafizabad Accounts Officer Zafar Abbas, Deputy Accounts Officer Abbas Ahmad and clerk Murad Ali were allegedly involved in a fraud case of Rs 8.8 million. The allegations proved against them during inquiries.
Narowal Food Inspector Shamshad Ahmad was allegedly involved in corruption while Audit Fund Complaint Officer Luqman Gilani was allegedly involved in a bribe case.
Sialkot Tehsil Office PA Muhammad Khan, clerk Abdul Hakeem and Muhammad Majeed were allegedly involved in a case of tempering with record while Narowal SI Pervez was allegedly involved in a bribe case. Court officials Amir Shahzad and Ejaz Ahmad were allegedly involved in a case of stealing court record while court official Muhammad Sharif was allegedly involved in a bribe case.

Khalid quarreled with his wife Kishwar. Later, he allegedly shot his wife dead. Aroop police have registered a case and started investigation.
THIEF THRASHED: The DHQ Hospital security guards caught a thief and thrashed him.
Imran was allegedly trying to steal equipments from a hospital laboratory when the security guards caught him. They also thrashed him. Later, the accused was handed over to Civil Lines police.
