Says country today is safer, more peaceful and
economically stable; there is no room for negative politics

LAHORE

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that process of national progress and prosperity has restarted in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan has strengthened economically during three years.

He said law and order had substantially improved and country today is safer, peaceful and economically stable than ever before. He said there is no room for negative politics and there is a need for unity and solidarity in the country.

Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-N, the chief minister said the PML-N was implementing the agenda of public service and a number of welfare projects had been completed expeditiously.

He said various projects were being implemented for resolving energy crisis. He said the PML-N government had promoted the trend of transparency and high standard in the execution of development projects and these projects were itself a proof to this fact. Shahbaz Sharif said the political elements criticising public welfare projects were not sincere to the masses.

He said the people of Pakistan wanted progress and prosperity. He said the elements involved in protest politics wanted to waste the precious time of the nation and create hurdles in development process. However, he said, the enlightened people of the country would hold accountable such elements as were trying to hamper the process of progress and prosperity and would not allow their negative designs to succeed. He said some political elements were again bent upon hindering the process of national progress and prosperity. He said those who were involved in the politics of chaos were trying to achieve their selfish interests and their efforts tantamount to enmity to the nation.
