Altaf to be tried under Article 6: Abid Sher
Accuses Altaf of being anti-Pakistan; alleges KP chief ministers’ brothers, relatives are hurdles to power projects in the province; condemns attack on media houses

MULTAN: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has criticised MQM chief Altaf Hussain for his hate speech.
Talking to newsmen at the Mepco Headquarters here on Tuesday, he alleged that Altaf Hussain was an anti-Pakistan and he had committed treason. He said that Altaf Hussain would be tried under Article 6. The minister said that Altaf Hussain was a younger brother of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the patriotic workers of the MQM must stand with people of Pakistan against Altaf. He condemned the attack on media houses in Karachi.
The state minister said that PTI chief Imran Khan was a political orphan while PAT chief Tahirul Qadri was double Shah and AML chief Sheikh Rashid was a political fraud. He said that those doing politics of sit-ins were working on the Indian agenda. Abid Sher Ali said that the country had only been facing external terrorism but also internal political terrorism. He said that the country would be free from loadshedding in March 2018. He claimed that the PML-N would sweep the 2018 general elections on the basis of its performance. He alleged that the KP chief ministers’ brothers and relatives were key hurdles to power projects in the province.
The state minister claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s name was not included in the Panama Leaks. He said that the PML-N’s victory in the Azad Kashmir elections proved that the PML-N was the popular political party of the country.
MUZAFFARGARH: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that the operation against terrorists would continue in Karachi. He said that it was the responsibility of the provincial government to take action against those, who attacked media houses in Karachi. He said that PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT chief Tahirul Qadri were misguiding the people.
Earlier, on the complaints of the people, the minister ordered police to take action against three meter inspectors. He also ordered departmental action against an SDO, a line superintendent and an assistant lineman.
