SUKKUR: The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, has said that the party would decide about resignations from parliament.
Talking to the media during his visit to the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), he said neither he nor Rehman Malik had the authority to make a decision on the resignations of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Khursheed Shah said the political parties, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had objections to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members but the Local Government (LG) elections were the decision of the Supreme Court.
He said that problems of the people would now be discussed because the country had many issues, including economy, agriculture, education, terrorism and others. He said the prices of petroleum products were being decreased internationally but the government was not giving any relief to the masses.
He said that the passion of 1965 War was needed today for the prosperity of the country. — Sabah
