JI leaders hail Centre for approving road project
TIMERGARA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Lower Dir chapter leaders Tuesday appreciated federal government for approving the Rs43 billion Dir-Chitral road as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.The JI leaders conveyed their gratitude to Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal for his support in approving the mega project.
Speaking at a press conference at Timergara Press Club, JI Lower Dir Chief Aizazul Mulk Afkari, JI leaders Hafiz Yaqoobur Rahman, Malik Sher Bahadar, member district council Muhammad Nazir Khan and others said the project would bring about economic revolution in the area. They said the project included 37 kilometers Chakdarra to Timergara road, 40 kilometers Timergara to Upper Dir and 46 kilometers Upper Dir to Chitral road.
