Iraq transfers its Pak envoy to Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Iraq has transferred its ambassador for Pakistan Dr Rushdi Al-Ani to Saudi Arabia as its ambassador for the Kingdom.
He will be proceeding to Riyadh from here next month. Ambassador of Lebanon Ms. Mona El Tannir hosted farewell dinner in the honour of the outgoing envy at her residence Saturday evening where a number of fellow ambassadors were present including new Saudi ambassador for Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani, new high commissioner of Australia Ms Margaret Adamson, ambassador of Jordan Nawaf Khalifeh Ibrahim Saraireh, Nepal’s envoy Bharat Raj Paudyal, former State Minister for Foreign Affairs Nawabzada Malik Amad Khan and Pakistan’ former ambassador to Saudi Arabia Al Haj Umar Khan Ali Sherzai.
The guests kept on discussing about the political developments in Pakistan and major shuffle in the envoys of other countries in Pakistan.
