Amir to coach boxers in Islamabad

KARACHI: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Tuesday said that English boxer Amir Khan would organise a boxing event at the Amir Khan Boxing Academy at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad on August 19 at 6pm.
The Board said in a press release that the former two-time world champion would also coach boxers on the occasion.
Amir, who launched an academy in Islamabad during his last visit, met Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Sunday and presented him the honourary world championship belt on behalf of the World Boxing Council (WBC) for his meritorious services for maintaining law and order in Pakistan.
