Multan, Lahore thrash opponents in Disabled T20 Cricket
KARACHI: Defending champions Multan trounced Quetta Bolan by 93 runs, while Lahore recorded a formidable 98-run win against FATA on the second day of ICRC National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship 2016 here on Tuesday.
Lahore batted first and put on board 165-5 in 20 overs. Muhammad Shahbaz scored 60. Ashfaq Shakir scored 52.
FATA were bowled out for 67 in 13 overs. Shahid Ali, Abid Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali and Abdullah Ejaz took two wickets each.
Multan batted first and scored 170-4 in 20 overs. Jahanzaib Tiwana played a whirlwind 63-run knock, which came off only 31 balls. Majid Hussain scored 54.
Quetta Bolan managed only 76-9 in 20 overs. Muhammad Haris bowled picked five wickets.
Muhammad Asif grabbed three wickets.
Sargodha pulled their first victory when they defeated Rawalpindi by 15 runs.
Hosts Karachi overpowered Hyderabad by five wickets. Quetta thrashed Azad Kashmir by seven wickets.
Islamabad recorded a close 11-run win against Sialkot. Faisalabad bulldozed Bahawalpur by 113 runs and Peshawar defeated Abbotabad by 18 runs.
