PML-N believes in politics of decency: Hanif Abbasi

Rawalpindi termed hub of the party

RAWALPINDI: Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have said that Rawalpindi is the hub of the PML-N and it would appear triumphant in the next general elections.

The party arranged a big gathering in connection with the Independence Day on Saturday evening at Iqbal Road. The public meeting was attended by a large number of party workers and general public. PML-N leaders including Hanif Abbasi, Sardar Naseem Khan, Haji Pervaiz, Shakeel Awan and others addressed the people.

Senior Party leader Hanif Abbasi while addressing the people said that PML-N always followed the politics of decency and politeness while serving the public. He said that they believed in the civilized and ethical politics adding that PML-N leaders never used abusive and insulting language against their opponents.

He said that Nawaz Sharif gave top priority to Rawalpindi city and launched various development projects as he believed in serving the people. PML-N Rawalpindi President Sardar Naseem Khan expressed that Rawalpindi was hub of the PML-N and claimed that it would succeed in the next elections. Former MNA Haji Pervaiz said that the PML-N success in Cantt Boards, Corporations and lately Azad Kashmir elections proved that masses liked Nawaz Sharif and were with him.

Ex-MNA Shakeel Awan severely criticised the politics of Sheikh Rashid Ahmad terming him a political orphan. Rahat Qadoosi presented a resolution expressing solidarity with freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir. The resolution severely condemned the Indian forces genocide and cruelties against Kashmiris and demanded of the United Nations to solve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its earlier resolutions providing Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
