ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has started preparations to respond to the letter written by PTI Chairman Imran Khan demanding its resignation.
There was a great chance that the ECP would give it the final touch during the next week, sources told Online.
According to them, the ECP would complete its consultation during the current week with concerned authorities to prepare the reply on the letter of Imran Khan. “The PTI chief once again started criticising the ECP and threatened to stage a sit-in outside its office after the verdict of election tribunal about re-polling in the constituency of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq,” sources revealed and added that the ECP had decided to respond about the general polls of 2013.
The reply of the letter would be sent to him after the approval of chief election commissioner and other officials of the ECP, the sources concluded.
