QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly on Monday unanimously approved a condemnation resolution against the provocative speeches of the MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
Moreover, the assembly demanded of the federal government to bring Altaf Hussain back from London and a treason case should be initiated against him. The resolution says the Pakistani masses express hate against the statements of Altaf, adding that keeping in mind the public sentiments, action should be taken against these kinds of elements.
The resolution tabled by Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Khan Bugti requested the federal government to bring Altaf Hussain back to Pakistan and take action against him under the Article 6 of the Constitution. It further said that the remarks of the MQM chief were against the national integrity and supported the agenda of anti-state elements.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarfraz Bugti said that the MQM chief was trying to break the country. He said that action should be taken against him under the Constitution after bringing him back. He said the speeches delivered by Altaf Hussain had made anti-Pakistan forces strong, which came under treason.
